In this session, we will be discussing why this is important, strategies for positive communication, and ways to increase family involvement in the program’s day to day. Presenter: Sarah Hansen

Participants will analyze environmental philosophies and apply practical strategies to reduce behavior challenges, increase independence, and create developmentally appropriate learning opportunities. Coaching as Supervision is a class designed for after-school program staff to enhance their supervisory skills through coaching techniques. Participants will learn effective methods for coaching their team members, understanding different roles within a team, and developing a step-by-step coaching program to support their team's growth and success.
