This interactive training examines the principles of competent direct supervision required under New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) regulations and explores practical strategies that reduce risk\, prevent accidents\, support positive behavior\, and promote high-quality youth development. Participants will examine real-life scenarios\, collaborate with peers to solve supervision challenges\, and apply the SAFE Model (See\, Assess\, Formulate/Fix\, Evaluate) to strengthen supervision practices in school-age programs. Presenter: Lesley Lawrence. This session will not count for OCFS training credit.
