SUMMARY:Youth Mental Health First Aid
DESCRIPTION:Description: Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents\, family members\, caregivers\, teachers\, school staff\, peers\, neighbors\, health and human services workers\, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. View Flyer. \n\n\n\nTrainings are limited to 30 participants in each course and are offered on a first-come\, first-served basis. \n\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS \n\n\n\n\nPRE-WORK: 2 hours of self-paced pre-work must be completed 5 days before the scheduled training date.\n\n\n\nON-LINE TRAINING: You must have access to a computer\, microphone\, and camera for training participation.\n\n\n\nATTENDANCE: This is a certification course (not a webinar). Attendance is required. Only register if you can attend.\n\n\n\n\nAFTER YOU REGISTER \n\n\n\n\nEMAIL COMMUNICATION: We will contact you regarding the next steps. Respond promptly.
