Effective Language for Redirecting and Preventing Power Struggles

Description: Using best practices for healthy interpersonal communication, this training is customized to the needs of the communicator and their audience. Participants will be introduced to foundational skills for leveraging verbal and non- verbal communication strategies to interact effectively and to make messages clear, complete, and useful. The training will give participants the opportunity to learn how to use affective statements, question-based approaches, and positive problem-solving skills to engage in healthy conversations.
