This professional development course empowers school-age educators to cultivate safe, emotionally secure environments where children develop strong self-esteem, self-control, and independence. It focuses on strategies to help youth embrace their authentic selves -including their bodies, feelings, abilities, and cultural identities – while learning to respect the rights and feelings of others. Participants will learn how to guide children through both success and failure, ensuring they realize their own effectiveness in handling challenging demands.
